China's Li Na wins French Open championship

   Li Na is the first player from China to win a Grand Slam tennis tournament as she beat Francesca Schiovone for the French Open title. The victory Saturday came in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6.

Federer ends Djokovic's streak

   As night fell over Roland Garros on Friday, fans were treated to one of the all-time great French Open semi-finals. It ended with Roger Federer triumphing over Novak Djokovic 7-6(5), 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(5) in three hours 39 minutes. The Swiss third seed goes on to meet world no.1 and five-time champion Rafael Nadal in Sunday's final.
