Beyonce, Rihanna & Britney

Beyonce's Billboard Music Awards (BMA) performance was jaw-dropping, revolutionary and so deserving of the Millenium Artist Award which makes her the second person to receive such honor after Michael Jackson in 2009. Meanwhile, Rihanna and Britney's peformance at the BMA lacked the same energy and quality as compared to B's. Riri did well actually but Britney appeared to be doing the thing she loves best -- lypsync, and the dance moves appeared to be calculated. I long to see the old Britney who used to dazzle us with her suave moves on stage. I wonder when would that be. Check-out their videos:

Run The World

Beyonce's back, this time with new and better moves. She looks like she's channeling X-men's Ororo Monroe a.ka. ''Storm'' with her African-inspired outfits and dance moves. B's comeback video Run The World (Girls) showcases her growth as an artist and what sets her apart from the likes of Rihanna, Shakira, and Lady Gaga.

I'm Into You

Latin world's version of Brad Pitt, Cuban-born William Levy is featured in J.Lo's latest music video ''I'm Into You''. It's amazing to see J.Lo looking fabulous and hot as ever, channeling the look and body that made her famous some years ago. But of course, all eyes are glued to the hunky love interest in the video as well. Take a peak.

More of yummy Willy after the jump.

Untitled

You most likely remember D'Angelo from the video that made him famous. It was for ''Untitled (How Does It Feel?),'' from his 2000 Grammy-winning release, Voodoo, and there is really one thing to remember: D'Angelo naked, ripped to the core, the camera lingering on his torso. And so a musical heartthrob was born.

More than a decade later, we haven't heard from him since. We've seen him pop-out here and there but we really haven't felt his presence. Rumors of a comeback have been circulating since 2009 but they all remained just that -- rumors. Where in the world is D'Angelo? We miss his music (..and his muscles).

Music Is Universal

Music is truly universal as it encompasses all boundaries and all sorts of social and physical barriers that not even former Miss Universe titleholders are spared. Winning a pageant as grand and prestigious as Miss Universe opens doors of opportunities - acting, ad campaigns, and in this case, a music career. Watch our former queens Dayanara Torres (1993), Sushmita Sen (1994),  Alicia Machado (1996), Lara Dutta (2000), Denise Quinones (2001), Oxana Fedorova (2002), Amelia Vega (2003), Jennifer Hawkins (2004) and Dayana Mendoza (2008) sing and/or get featured in these awesome and diverse music videos.

Simply Eargasmic!

While browsing the net, I came across this cool band named Keane, an English alternative rock band from Battle, East Eussex. They've been around the music scene since 1997 but only achieved mainstream success with the release of their international debut album in 2004 making them win multiple awards and topping music charts across the globe.  Their music is simply awesome and absolutely ''eargasmic.'' Below are three of my favorites:
